Eleanor's obituary

On Sunday, January 2, 2022. Eleanore Virginia Taylor was called from labor to eternal rest. Her passing was of natural causes at the young age of 90 years. Eleanore was born Eleanor Virginia Chandler on July 8, 1931. She loved adding an “e” to the ending of her first name. She married the late Jeremiah Taylor Sr. on July 19, 1948. Eleanore is the daughter of the late James Francis Chandler and the late Ruth Chandler. Eleanore was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness. Some of her favorite pastimes were putting large puzzles together and playing cards with her friends. She loved to give nick names to all the babies and young children that they would never forget. Any music from Sam Cooke would make her heart sing. When you said "I love you" to her she would always respond with "I love you more". Eleanore is predeceased by her husband Jeremiah Taylor Sr., five children Jeremiah Taylor Jr., Ranny Donald Taylor, Karen Diane Taylor, Marcus Johnathan Taylor, Kal Anthony Taylor, two grandchildren Ivy Adnil Lee and Marvin Taylor Jr. Eleanore is survived by one son Marvin F. Taylor Sr. and three daughters Ella Brown Bey (Trenton Bey), Linda Taylor-Lee, and Melissa Carey. Sixteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
