It breaks Leo’s and my heart not to be in town today to celebrate one of our favorite people today! We love you dearly Eleanor and forever changed by your prayers and joy!

What a wonderful Christian mentor and friend Eleanor was to me and my son Andrew, these past decades! She always was ready with a positive answer to a phone call, encouraging me to wait on the LORD in all things, often reminding me of Prov 3:5+6. We sat together in church for many years, my great privilege.
My daughter Bethany recently shared an insight about Eleanor: We were discussing how some older people can become critical, and how, instead, as Christians, we should become more like Jesus. She said the only older person she saw like that was Eleanor!
We grieve with Eleanor’s family at the temporary loss of this great lady, but also rejoice that she is in now in the arms and care of her Savior and Lord

Our hearts go out the family at this time of remembrance and loss of Miss Ellie. We know you grieve but, not as those with no hope! We rejoice for Miss Ellie at her home going as she was a good and very faithful servant! She is with her Lord and Savior, resting blissfully at peace!

We will miss your joy and spirited personality, but you left such a legacy of faith and love to all who called you friend. Knowing you was worth the pain of grief.
