Eleanor Sue Scott passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 79. 

She was the beloved wife of Rodney for the past 57 years.

Dearest mother of Michelle (Keith) Goy, and Aimee (Troy) Burris.

Loving grandmother of Justin Maike, Kyle (Brooke) Short, Emily (Jon) McNamee, Connor (Olivia) Short, Kayla Short, and Cody Burris.

Devoted great-grandmother of Easton Short, Jette Maike, Tanner Short, Vanessa Short, Abigail Short, Carolina Short, and Grayson McNamee.

Family was extremely important to Eleanor, she was very proud, and would brag about them any chance she could. Over the last 40 years, Eleanor and Rodney spent an abundant amount of time traveling the country and seeing everything they could. Of all the places they saw, her 2 favorite spots to visit again and again were Cades Cove National Park in Tennessee, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. When she wasn't traveling, she loved spending time at her second home in Gulf Shores driving along the coast and enjoying the warm weather.  

Eleanor loved her role as "Nana" and was loving and welcoming to everyone that stepped into her home. She was an incredible woman and will be missed tremendously.
