Eleanor's obituary

Eleanor DiCicco (D’Agostino), of Langhorne, PA, passed away on October 17, 2021, which was her 100th birthday. She was born and grew up in South Philadelphia with her family. Eleanor’s parents, the late Michael and Clementine (Vozzi) D’Agostino, were immigrants from Italy. Her family describes her as one of the most resilient 100-year-olds you could have met. She has survived cancer, a stroke, pneumonia, heart surgery, and so many other serious health issues. Eleanor fought her way back every time. She brought immense joy, love and happiness into her family’s lives each and every day. 100 years were not enough. God has her now, but we will always have her in our hearts.

Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Joseph DiCicco; loving mother of Dennis DiCicco and Michelle DiCicco; cherished grandmother of Jay, Jenna, and Maci; and dear sister of Theresa Benedetto.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Monday, October 25th, at 10 am. A brief prayer service will begin at 10:45 am, followed by entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, 626 Baily Road, Yeadon, PA.

Eleanor’s service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at 10:45 am using this link: (I will provide). Masks and social distancing will be in effect at the funeral home and cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or the ASPCA as she was passionate about finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease which effected her late husband as well as the safety and kind treatment of animals that gave her such joy throughout her life.
