Eleane June Ashey Street

November 11, 1937- January 10, 2024

MILFORD and ORONO- Eleane June Ashey Street died January 10, 2024, after a long battle with Cancer. She was born November 11th, 1937, to Desmond and Clara (Morse) Ashey. She graduated from Searsport High and spent earlier years driving bus for Cyr Bus Line. Eleane spent 16 winters in Zephyrhills, Fla with her husband Fred where she enjoyed shuffleboard, Bingo, monthly dances, and spending time at the Casino. She was an avid Boston sports fan supporting the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and enjoyed NASCAR Racing.

Eleane June (Ashey) Street is survived by her son, Blaine Harvey and wife Carol, of Hermon; brother Terry Ashey and wife Gloria of Verona Island; brother Leland Ashey and wife Linda of Searsport; brother Michael Ashey and wife Donna of Belfast; step-children Debbie Whitman and fiancé Bob Dorr of Hermon; Tom Street and wife Cherie of Glenburn; Tim Street and wife Celia of Florida; and Sandie Griffith and husband Isaiah of Connecticut; as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and special friends Freeman Cote of Milford; Nancy Street of Florida; Harry Brown of Orono; and Gurt Murphy of Alton.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Fred Street; sons, Steven Harvey, Gary Johnson, and Wayne Johnson; and brothers Ronald Ashey and Richard Ashey.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
