Elden proudly served his country as a Vietnam War veteran and was recognized for his bravery with a Purple Heart Medal. Throughout his life, he remained committed to the well-being of his family and community, often leading by example with a strong sense of duty and devotion.
As a beloved figure within his local community, Elden enjoyed spending time at the American Legion, where he forged lifelong friendships and shared countless memories. His love for hanging out with friends embodied his warm and sociable nature, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Family was at the heart of Elden's life, with his daughter Patty and his grandchildren being his utmost priority. He is survived by his granddaughters, Erin Silvers and Rebeka Silvers, as well as his grandson, John Brinkley Jr. Elden's dedication to their happiness and well-being will forever serve as a testament to his unwavering love and commitment.
