Elda Postigo Christianson, 74, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on October 12, 2023 surrounded by loved ones after a difficult battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Elda was born on September 8, 1949 to Angel & Antonia Postigo in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. After graduating from high school, she went on to study accounting at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez.  In [year they met], she met Alan, and they wed in 1983, going on to have 2 children, Demi & Michael.

When Elda had Demi, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Elda excelled at propping up Alan, Demi & Michael and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting Alan through his career of flying or supporting Michael through hockey, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Elda was a passionate artist and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her sewing room making clothes, crafting or painting. We will miss her greatly.

Elda was predeceased by her father Angel, mother Antonia and brother Raul. She is survived by her husband Alan, her two children Demi and Michael, her son-in-law Thaddeus Bahl and her two grandchildren Brynlee & Thaddeus Bahl.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 20289 S. 229th Way, Queen Creek, AZ 85142. There will be a celebration of life on December 9th @ 3pm at 19590 S Barney Farms Pkwy, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
