Elbert's obituary
Elbert was born May 6, 1946 to the late Carl Williams and Ruth Julie Williams. He retired after many years of service from L.O.F. Pilkington Glass Manufacturing. Elbert was a member of Grey Pond Baptist Church and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, golfing and farming. Most importantly he loved watching NASCAR racing. His most favorite of all time, now retired, Jeff Gordon. #24
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Julie Ann Miller Williams. Elbert leaves behind children, sons, Scot A. Williams(Sandi), of Ellerbe NC, Elbert “Little Pop” Williams Jr.(Lisa) of Mccoll and Debbie Bixby(Mike) of Raleigh; Twelve grandchildren, Three great grandchildren; special friend, Lillian Chavis Hyatt of Laurinburg.
Cremation services by A Choice Crematory, Raleigh NC. Private family cremation gathering with be held for close family only. Funeral services may be held at a later date.
