Elaine Esther Breister Nahum, of Cerritos, California passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 90.

Elaine was born on November 19, 1933 to Theodore and Kathryn “Rena” in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. After Elaine graduated from St. Mary Springs High School in 1951, she moved to California with some friends from her water skiing team.

She worked for the Tidewater Oil Company where she met Al Nahum her future husband.

In 1962 she married Al and went on to have 2 children Richard and Robin.

Elaine was always active in her community and loved sports. She belonged to her walking group through the Cerritos Senior Center. She completed the LA marathon at the age of 69! She loved to travel the world with Al and they went on many adventures.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband Al, parents Theodore and Kathryn and her brother William “Bill”. She is survived by her children Richard Nahum and Robin Ankrom, grandchildren Joshua Nahum, Zachary Nahum, Nicholas Nahum, Tyler Ankrom and Trevor Ankrom and her great granddaughter Charli Nahum.

Elaine will be missed by her many friends and neighbors that she loved being with. She will also be missed by her family that she was always extremely devoted to.
