Elaine "Lil Bit" Stevenson (Goyette)'s Story
Elaine "Lil Bit" Stevenson, 74, a former resident of Orange, California passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
Born on September 26, 1951, In Acushnet, Massachusetts, brought warmth and spirit to every chapter of her life.
Known affectionately as "Lil Bit," Elaine may have been small in stature, but she was mighty in presence. Her vibrant personality and unwavering strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Whether cheering on her beloved Boston Red Sox or New England Patriots, or zipping across the lake on a sea-doo, Elaine embraced life with enthusiasm and joy.
Elaine found great happiness in the company of family and friends. She is known for her razor-sharp memory and quick wit. She cherished time spent sewing and crocheting-crafts that reflected her creativity and care.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Monica Adesso; two grandchildren, Ivy Gaurkee and Zephyr Helvella; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will carry forward her memory with affection.
Elaine was preceded in death by her grandparents Pierre (Peter) Thifault and Sara M. Schwartz; parents Ademord Goyette Jr. and Lillian (Thifault) Goyette; brothers William "Willy" Goyette (wife Pauline) and Leo Goyette (wife June); Uncles Gerard Thifault (survived by wife Adeline) and Leo Thifault (wife Peggy); and Aunt Dorothy "Dot" Thifault (husband Raymond Grand).
Elaine's legacy lives on through the love she shared and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
