It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of a remarkable woman, Elaine Kraft, who passed away on December 26, 2023. Born on December 3, 1946, Elaine lived a fruitful life filled with happiness, joy, and an exceptional spirit of kindness.

Elaine is survived by a loving and devoted family. Her husband, Ron Kraft, has been her pillar of strength throughout their journey together. She will be profoundly missed by her daughters, Tammy Mercurio and Janelle Geffert, who brought immense joy to her life. Her son-in-law, Dennis Mercurio, has been part of this wonderful family whom she cherished. Elaine's legacy will continue to live on through her grandchildren, Sienna and Bennett Mercurio and Liam Geffert, who were the apples of her eye.

Elaine's favorite pastime was watching performances on RFD TV, which brought her great happiness. A vibrant and lively soul, she had a fond inclination towards the color Blue. Blessed with a jovial personality, Elaine was always happy, spreading joy everywhere she went. The best lesson she shared with everyone around her was, "Be kind," a testament to her own gentle and generous spirit.

Elaine's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on January 4, 2024, at 10:00 PM, at the Weddington United Methodist Church Cemetery. All those who knew and loved Elaine are invited to join in commemorating her wonderful life.

Elaine Kraft will be deeply remembered in our hearts. Her life was a testament to the sheer strength of her spirit, and her kindness will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
