Elaine's obituary

Elaine Dunn, age 47 of Seattle WA, passed away on October 15th 2021 after fighting Endocarditis, a heart valve and blood infection. Elaine was born on November 8th 1973 to Janet and David Dunn in Bellevue WA.  She was an amazing big sister, aunt, daughter and friend. She was a beautiful soul, brilliant, artistic, creative, and so much fun to be around. 

After graduating from Bellevue High School in 1992 she went on to earn her Associates degree at Bellevue College and later worked to complete her Bachelors degree in Business at WGU.  

Elaine was a born leader with a big heart which helped her grow in her career in Human Resources. She always cared for others success and well being. 

Elaine remained friends with her ex husband, Darrell Gardner, whom she met in 1995 and wed in 2005. 

A dog lover, Elaine was a passionate supporter of the fostering and rescuing of dogs. She supported Old Dog Haven, a non profit dedicated to fostering and caring for older dogs. 

Elaine spent her free time doing creative projects, acrylic painting, and enjoying time outdoors with her friends, family and pups.  She loved to go camping, star gazing, dancing to 80's music and gardening. 

She is survived by her loving parents Janet and David Dunn, younger sister Andrea Manning (Dunn), her nephew Jaylen Manning, niece Mylah Manning and her pup Allie who she adored.
