Elaine's obituary
Elaine Davis, 78, of San Diego, passed away on November 23, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.
Elaine was born in January 1944 to Alphonse and Anita Bergeron in Springfield, Massachusetts. She had an older brother Alphonse Bergeron Jr. After graduating from Richardson High School in Texas in 1962, she studied nursing at the St. Mary's School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota.
After graduation, Elaine and her husband Gary moved to Texas, and she went on to have a successful career in nursing for over 40 years, working as an emergency room nurse, a school nurse, a clinical nurse, and ultimately in nursing management.
Elaine met Gary Davis in 1962, and they wed in 1964, going on to have two children, Scott and Troy. Elaine was a loving, caring, compassionate wife, mother, nurse, and friend. She was supportive and caring through the many passions and difficulties of all lives she touched. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others by setting an example of unmatched positivity, happiness, and kindness.
Elaine was an impassioned nurse who also loved her garden and landscaping. She was continually filling her home with warmth and kindness, and at times she could be found in her kitchen baking cookies or planting succulents in her backyard garden.
We will always miss her greatly. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Alphonse and Anita, and her brother Alphonse Jr. She is survived by Gary Davis, Scott Davis, and Troy Davis.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to the home address. There will be a funeral mass on December 17th, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Church in Old Town San Diego.
