Eileen's obituary

Eileen Briggs-Johnson, a beacon of kindness and patience, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026. Born on September 23, 1934, Eileen lived a full life as a devoted wife, mother, and travel enthusiast.

Eileen found joy in the simple things in life, like her favorite game of Monopoly, which she loved sharing with her grandkids. A fan of Italian cuisine, she knew her way around a kitchen and cooked with love. Her spirit of adventure inspired her love for travelling, with Florida being her favorite destination.

In 1952, she married Mr. Charles Johnson, I, who predeceased her. During their time together, they built a beautiful family and created countless cherished memories. Eileen's tenacity and warmth shone brightly in her role as a wife and mother, a testament to her greatest accomplishment.

She is survived by her son, Chuck Johnson, her daughter, Jenifer Paolite, and her son, David Johnson. Each will fondly remember their mother for her unwavering kindness, patience, and enduring love.

A funeral service for Eileen will be held on March 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Salvatore Scallopini Birmingham. It will be a time to commemorate her life, honor her memory, and celebrate the love she spread to those around her.

We remember Eileen Briggs-Johnson, not just for her accomplishments, but for the remarkable woman that she was. Her legacy of love, patience, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she has left behind.
