Efonsha's obituary
Efonsha, well known as Chris, was born February 2nd 1983 in the heart of Sacramento California. The beloved son of the late Linda Cooks and Kenneth Graham. He was a proud father to his beautiful daughter, Damaris Michell Taylor, whom he loved with all his heart. Chris was the second eldest of his mother’s children, and his life was richly blessed with a big, loving family. He leaves behind his siblings: Brian, Porsche, LaToya, Dwayne, James, Demetra, Tyler, Christopher, Khadeeja, Treyvon, Brittani (Angel), Alexander, Leander, and Brandon, along with many nieces and nephews to carry on his memories.
Chris was raised in the loving care of his great-aunt, Inree Eaton Webb. He grew up attending Christ Temple Apostolic Church, where his faith in God was planted and nurtured. Life had its share of struggles and strongholds, but Chris never let go of his belief in the Lord. He had no fear or shame sharing the Word of God, encouraging people, and lifting others up whenever he could.
Anyone who knew Chris knew his big personality. He had a sharp sense of humor, his humor could fill any room with laughter, and he had a way of making people feel good just by being around him. He loved fashion and always carried himself with style and confidence. Music, dancing, and good food were pleasures of his life, but what he treasured most was time spent with his family and friends. Downtown Sacramento was his stomping ground, a place where he created lifelong bonds and unforgettable memories.
Efonsha shared a special closeness with his aunts Brenda and Jessica, and his cousins, who brought him so much joy. His friends Ken, Mecca, Amanda, and especially his best friend Anthony, along with the Medina family, were extended family to him—bonds that lasted a lifetime. Chris was loyal to the core. He showed up for the people he loved, rarely missed a family event, and was always there to support others in their time of need.
Efonsha ’s life was a testament of resilience, faith, and love. His laughter, his kindness, faithfulness, and his presence will be so deeply missed, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of us all.
