Edward "Ed" Zellman, Jr., 67, of Orlando, FL, passed away on March 27, 2024 in his home. 

Edward was born on June 29th of 1956 to his parents, Edward Herman Zellman, Sr. and Ethel Lucille (Merrill) Zellman in Umatilla, FL. After graduating from high school, he went on to study Chemistry in college.


Later in life, he became interested in becoming a jeweler and pursued education through the Gemological Institute of America. He has worked as a jeweler, maintaining his job with the same employer over the past 15 years. Edward was married and had three children, Chris Zellman, Amy Zellman, and Blake Zellman. According to his friends, he was proud of his children, his children meant so much to him, something he often mentioned.

 Edward was passionate about gem mining and music. When his children were growing up, he was often found playing piano or mining on the personal property in NC; he helped build a flume around his house and helped his children identify the gems and minerals they found there. Edward was predeceased by both his father and mother. He is survived by many:  his two sisters, three children, and his close friends who he treated like adopted family in his later years of life. Ed's children request that notes and other condolences may be sent to any of his three children (ask for an address).
