Edward's obituary
Edward Williams, 71, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed on
February 07, 2022 By the way of heart attack. Edward
was born on June 16, 1950.
Predeceased by his loving second wife of 64 years old.
Edward is lovingly remembered by his sons, (Tyreeq
Merit, Maurice Williams, Syntravious Atkins, and Albert
Williams). His daughters, (Tiara Williams, Sierra
Williams, and Brandy Williams). His Grandchildren,
(Davaris Williams, Khalil Brown, Shelton Brown,
Ra'marion Williams, Anquinetta Anderson, Daja Atkins,
Taquavious Atkins, Ja'Naryia Williams and Patricia
Bowers). His brothers, (Bernard Goodrum, Russel
Williams, and Timothy Hanes). His sisters, (Rechelle
Battle, and Merium Williams). His nephews, (Malcolm
Goodrum, Christopher Hanes, and Tony Battle). His
nieces, (Anna Battle, Kayla Battle, Heaven Williams,
Erica William, and Joyce Williams).
Edward graduated from North Atlanta Highschool on
August 8, 1969. He then attended trade school and
began work as a mechanic. Later in his life he would go
on to build a career as a funeral director. He had his first
child on October 18, 1977 (Maurice Williams).Once
Edward became a father he dedicated his life to his
work and his family. With his first wife working as a
secretary, they were able to purchase a small home in
the metropolitan Atlanta area. Edward and his first wife
went on to produce 4 more children before her
passing (Albert Williams, Tiara Williams, Sierra
and Brandy Williams). He remarried and expand
family with two additional sons(Tyreeq Merit, and
Syntravious Atkins).
Edward graduated from North Atlanta Highschool on

Edward only had a few hobbies which include, working
on cars, fishing, and collecting cars. He was a spiritual
man and involved in the church, he will be deeply
missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A funeral service is set to be held on
February 11 at 9:00 am. It will take
place at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Reverend James Clarke will officiate. Flowers,
