Ed and I began our teaching careers together at Poquessing Jr. High in September of 1968. We became good friends and together we played golf, smoked cigars, drank a lot of cheap beer and enjoyed life with our wives and very young children. Ed and family then moved back home to pursue a different career. We managed to stay in touch a few times each year via the phone, our conversations usually lasting close to an hour. Ed was a good man. Sincere condolences to Rob, Audra and the others in Ed's life.
