Edward's obituary
Edward “Todd” Brown Jr., 52, of Iron Station NC Sadly passed away on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at Levine & Dickinson Hospice House in Huntersville NC.
He was the loving husband of almost 25 years to Tammy Lynn (Cyr) Brown; proud Dad of Dawson Tyler, Kobe Lane (Faith), and Mason Alexander; and Grandfather to Skylar Lynn and Owen Raymond.
Todd was born on November 1, 1971 in Danbury CT to Edward Todd Brown Sr. and Deborah (Slais) Brown.
He is also survived by his sister Jennifer Brown and Dan Edwards; brother Scott Brown; niece Alexis Brown and Emmett Handrahan; grand-nephews Remy Edward and Daniel Chase; mother-in-law Linda Cyr; lots and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins……way too many to list……but he would want us to give a shout-out to his cousin Gary Palinkas and wife Tammi……they, and Todd’s sister Jenn, all helped all of his family SO SO much in getting through all of the sad final days.
Todd was predeceased by his brother-in-law Armand Cyr, and his niece Olivia Cyr.
He attended schools in Danbury and Bethel, and graduated from Henry Abbott Technical School in 1990.
In his youth Todd enjoyed playing baseball, duckpin bowling, riding bikes, going to the Danbury Racearena on Saturday nights, hanging out with friends (which he had MANY of, guys and gals!) and……anything to do with CARS!!
Todd was a “jack-of-all-trades” ……he could do it all: carpentry, HVAC, electric, etc., etc……in fact, he and Tammy turned their first home, a small 4 room house, into a HUGE gorgeous 8+ room home!
And he passed a lot of his knowledge on to his boys!
When not working or hanging with friends, his favorite place to be was sitting on the front porch (which both he and Tammy built) with Tammy and the boys, just chilling.
Todd was truly a friend to all, someone any of his family and friends could depend on no matter what the reason, or the time of day or night.
His favorite saying?? “IT IS WHAT IT IS”
