EJ's obituary
It is with heavy hearts we must sadly announce, that on Saturday, September 2, 2023 we lost a legend. Edward John Taddiken V known to most of us as EJ, left this world unexpectedly, at the early age of 44. Proceeded in death by his parents Lois and Edward Taddiken. Survived by his godmother Richelle, partner Courtney, his furry companions Giblet, Noodles, Fatty and Chicken Wing, along with many loving friends. EJ had a heart of gold. Although he had no children of his own, he treated many of ours as if they were his. He loved playing video games and had an undeniable passion for making music. Ej was an endearing guy. He was remarkably selfless and not the type who goes about it for show. He enjoyed when others enjoyed themselves, and put some effort into seeing to that…. He was blessed with unwavering integrity and wasn’t afraid to bluntly tell it how it is. Funnier than hell and for the most part could take a joke. Definitely full of shit sometimes, but once again… in an endearing kind of way. EJ taught so many of us what it means to be a true friend. loyal, trustworthy and if he called you a friend, then he had your back. He touched so many lives. For many, time will be unable to heal such a significant loss.
We will be celebrating EJ’s life Saturday September 23, 2023 from 4-8PM at Mortimer’s Bar and Restaurant - located at 2001 Lyndale Ave S in Minneapolis.
