This my guy. Rest In peace forever buddy. A great friend but a bad influence,I wish I could be stronger to influence people like him to change. But he is too strong minded. Whooping ass somewhere now
Be well my guy and for the record I knew you had passed but was afraid to look for years.
EJ was a great friend who loved having fun and really had fun watching others have fun. He helped out so many people and quietly so it was on some big man kinda shit, or some show boatin ass shit either. He did it just to do it. A really people smart kinda guy too. The first day I met him was wild. He came to get me off 24 th and Portland from being stuck three floors up and he’s just cursing Jerry’s existence ( not for the last time) and with such vehemence that I was like , “Damn, that kinda anger is something I can get behind. This guys alright “ Then I seen the compassionate and. Humble side and the generosity this guy had was second to none. A really good friend and I’m going to miss him.
I learned from EJ, how to be a good friend, even though we had moments of not talking, because our life paths went elsewhere. But, when we reconnected, it was as if no time had passed. EJ was who I would go to whenever I needed help with anything in life, he'd give me the advice I needed to set me straight and that's one of my favorite things about him. It's been really hard dealing with his loss, he's IRREPLACEABLE.
EJ was definitely a character that’s for sure, however he did have a heart of gold and was there for his friends and friends of friends. He was like a big brother to my son Tristan when he wSs younger and he would take him to movies, go shopping for new kicks, or buy a backyard grill for my mom Dianne’s backyard, and we would have s’mores parties and even roasted hotdogs. He was so funny and always said how it was, no bull crap. He will be deeply missed and I am sending my condolences to all that knew him. Rest in Paradise big guy. Alexis & Tristan
