Wednesday, April 17, 2024, our family received the sad news that Papa passed. The man who built a foundation of warmth, acceptance and who preferred kindness and gentleness to all else, was accepted into the arms of our Lord and Savior late on April 17th in the presence of his loving wife, Beth. 

Edward "Ed" Stephens was born October 17, 1940. He worked many years for General Motors in Oshawa and was an avid fitness enthusiast. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Dorothy, and son Scott. He is survived by his daughters Julie, Cindy and Tammy and their families. He was the loving brother to Angela Campbell and Lisa Burnett, who will miss him dearly. Ed was also loved by all his nieces and nephews. Papa was adored by all of Beth's children: Brian (Amy), Michael (Kathy), David (Victoria) and Julie (Jonathon) and grandchildren: Jackson, Hannah, Nyla, Alexa, Mozzie, Neal, Theodore, Elliot, Ollie Jack and Liberty. He was blessed to be taken care of by his wife in the comfort of his own home during the last few months as his health was failing. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him. Rest in peace papa.
