I was so sorry to hear about Edward's passing. He was such a good guy and one of favorite people I met.
He a good man as I knew him in Little League. He always smiled and had great interest in his helping kids. He always had good things to say and was someone whom all liked. He is a memory in my life and glad I knew him. His family was a great group and Dad's influence was a standard with his kids. I knew them all and wish sincere condolences to them and his wife.

Uncle Eddy
My grandpa would brag and brag about his Nephew, and this beautiful Family that lived in California. I was too caught up in college life and the 1st summer I missed out. Second summer came and I had plans with some friends, but I also took my grandpa’s offer to go to california for 2 weeks, man was I scared. I was so scared I invited my cousin (the Marlboro Man) Sorry but I guess being in Honduras all my life and going on a trip to meet people I didn’t know scared me a bit, mi parte ignorante y montuna de honduras. I remember that day like it was yesterday I always saw people being received at the airport with a signs (I don’t remember getting a sign) but what I got man that was a life changer, Uncle eddy picked me up with peewee it was marks graduation lunch. I couldn’t drink, Dolores’s rules u can’t drink if you are under 21 jajaja I was 20. But I felt like I was home, he took me all over, even Alcatraz yet he let me and cousin freeze because we were so stubborn not to take a sweater (he then gave us one he had in his trunk 😂😂) I went to visit and meet an uncle and his family, but man did I get so much more. Uncle Eddy wasn’t just and an uncle, he was a friend, someone who never judged me, who saw past who I was and showed me how to love your family, how to own up to your mistakes, how to be more than a father, a friend, a uncle. He showed me time and time again so many things that make me who I am, he brought me in like I was his own. (He was in both of my daughter’s birth and man did he loved them) But who didn’t he love, who didn’t he talk to, he was a blessing in all our lives, he was a father to me. I know we are all sad, but he’s here with us, guiding us, teaching us with love. His presence was so big that even when he isn’t around we can feel him close to us. He’s with Adain and Edna having a Medalla or his Favorite a Margarita, with a big smile looking over all of us.
Thank you Uncle Eddy thank you for being in my life and giving me so much more than I deserve. I Love you so much.
Paquito
