Background
On June 22, 2025, our beloved husband, father, pastor, and friend Pastor Edward Matheny went home to be with the Lord. Edward touched countless lives through his faith, service, leadership, wisdom, humor, and heart.
As Senior Pastor of Berea Apostolic Faith Church since 1998, and through his decades of professional and spiritual service, he built a legacy that continues to inspire us.
We are raising funds to help cover expenses for Pastor Matheny and build his legacy. In his spirit of generosity, a portion of the proceeds will also be donated to two causes dear to him:
Berea Apostolic Faith Church, where he served faithfully for over 25 years
The American Cancer Society, in honor of the many lives impacted by this disease
Any amount you can contribute is deeply appreciated. Whether you’re a member of the church, a friend from his professional life, or someone touched by his ministry, your support helps us honor his life with dignity and continue the work he poured his heart into.
