On August 3, 2025 Edward Lyden, Sr passed away in his home in Clifton, NJ. Edward was born in Paterson, NJ and was a lifelong Passaic County resident. Edward was an IBEW union member for over 50 years, having retired in 2000.

Known as “Big Ed”, he left a lasting impression on all whom he’d met. He loved being around his family and enjoyed the moments they could come together. Ed enjoyed living life and was always one to help out anyone in need; he loved gathering with friends and past colleagues whenever the chance arose. He was proud of his work as an electrician where he was a general foreman on several projects and served on the executive board of his union, he shared his strong work ethic with his children.

Edward is survived by his sons and daughter, Edward, Jr of Clifton, Peter, of Bunnell, FL Joseph of FL and Alyson of Las Vegas. He also was the proud grandfather of Dylan, Shealyn, Shane and Bryce.

In lieu of services, a memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
