Edward Scott Lancaster, 50, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on September 20, 2023. Ed, or Edmo, or Moe Moe, as he was affectionately known, was a wild and stubborn brother, as well as a strong and fighting father. Despite his mischievous nature, he was a loving individual who always put others before himself. Ed had a great sense of humor and was known for cracking jokes and pulling pranks. He genuinely cared about people and would always ask how they were doing, ensuring everyone was okay.

Ed is survived by his daughters, Mykayla Meachum, Faith Lancaster, and Taylor Lancaster, as well as his brothers Tommy Shaffer, John Lancaster Jr., Larry Shaffer, and James Lancaster, Floyd Hearld and his sister, Jackie Shaffer, as well as his mother, Linda Goff, and his ex-wife, Carla Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his mom, Peggy Lancaster, and his father, John Lancaster Sr.

Ed attended Elkhart Community Schools. Throughout his life, he had a variety of jobs and was a jack of all trades. He was always eager to learn and had his feet and hands in everything.

The family will not be holding a funeral due to financial constraints, but there will be a Celebration of Life on October 1st, 2023 at Baldwin One Room Schoolhouse located at the Bonneville Mill Park.
