Edward M. Koziol (75), of Naperville, Illinois was born on 1/10/1946. He went to live with the Lord on 11/4/2021 and is interred at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois. Ed proudly served his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War for four years. On his return from the service, he began working at Rubenstein Lumber Company, where he quickly became a valued employee of the business. He later worked for the Cook County Court System, first as a process server and then as a deputy bailiff in the Courtroom. After many years, Ed retired from the Cook County Court System and spent his retirement at his home in Naperville, Illinois. He really enjoyed playing golf and watching hockey games. Ed was a husband to Sue Koziol. He was previously married to Leedra Kutschke (nee Davis) and they shared three sons. Ed was father to Brian (Cheryl) Koziol, Kevin (Samantha) Koziol, and the late Jason Koziol. He was also a grandfather to Hannah, Matthew, Joshua, Noah, Taylor and Everleigh Koziol. Additionally, Ed was a cherished brother of the late Gertrude (the late Casimer) Grendzinski, the late Joan (James) O'Grady and Virginia "Sippi" (the late Ed) Chiappetta and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
