It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved Edward Britt, who left us on March 23, 2025 after a tragic hit and run accident. He was a great husband and a wonderful lover, a loving father and a true friend to many. 

Edward was born on October 10 1990, in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was a good man with a kind heart, someone who loved his family deeply and stood by them through everything. He was married to his soulmate, Carrie Britt for 12 years. They shared many years together, filled with love and laughter and memories that will never be forgotten. 

He was a devoted father who cared for his children with all his heart. They were his pride and joy, and he loved them more than anything. As a friend, he was someone you could depend on—honest, and always willing to help. 

Edward worked hard and treated people with respect. In his free time, he enjoyed simple moments and being with the people he loved most.

He leaves behind his wife and their precious children, who will forever carry his love and memory with them. He will also be missed by many family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date so family and friends can come together to honor his life.

May Edward Britt rest in peace, and may his love stay with us always.
