Eduwigis "Vicky" Loya Ruiz, 69, of Hewitt, TX, passed away on November 05, 2022 after a Long battle with Baylor Scott and White.

Eduwigis was born on October 13, 1953, to Florencio Loya and Guadalupe Ruiz Loya in Chihuahua, Mexico. She worked as a Final Inspector for Arconic, formally Alcoa and Fairchild for 27 years.

As a single Mother, she raised Eric Hasbun and Kimberly Chavez. She dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Eduwigis excelled at supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Eduwigis was a passionate Catholic and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found with her friends enjoying life. We will miss her greatly.

Eduwigis was predeceased by her parents, Florencio Loya and Guadalupe Loya. She is survived by her children, Eric Hasbun, Kimberly Chavez, and her grandkids.

 Her final resting place will be at the Queen of Heaven cemetery in Roland Heights, CA. The service is to be determined once her remains are back in CA.
