Eduardo of Managua, Nicaragua, born to Oscar Enrique Sotomayor Argeñal and Olimpia Petronila Espinosa, was called home by the Lord on October 21, 2025, at the age of 87.

Eduardo's journey was one of faith, family, and joyful service. He passed away at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in the city of Miami, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Teresa Calero de Sotomayor, all of his children, grandchildren great-grandchildren, and an extended family who lovingly remembers him. A graduate of high school, Eduardo was known for his sharp intellect and his unwavering work ethic. He made his mark as a transport specialist where his expertise and reliability were highly valued. Eduardo's professional life was characterized by his adventurous spirit and his ability to navigate the challenges of his vocation with grace and intelligence. As we bid farewell to Eduardo Enrique Sotomayor Espinosa, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
