Eduardo's obituary

Eduardo Gonzalez Pujols

Eduardo Gonzalez was born on the 13th of October 1946 to Julian Gonzalez & Blasina Pujols in Piedra Blanca, Bonao in the Dominican Republic. He lived his years on God’s Earth loving the Lord Jesus Christ, singing and preaching the Good News, pouring his own generous love into every life he touched. After his first marriage, he moved to the United States in 1984, where he met his wife Elizabeth, and lived with her and his children, until later retiring to Pennsylvania, and ultimately Florida until the Lord called him home. During Eduardo’s years with us, he enjoyed playing chess, watching baseball, and playing music. He was a hard-working, God-fearing, humble man who could make any gathering lively with laughter, even sometimes with his accordion. He loved to visit his Christian brothers and sisters whenever he could, and was doing exactly that in his last moments: loving his friends. On the 20th of August 2024, at the age of 77, the Lord called Eduardo home to rest. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his daughters, Dorcas & Raquel, his sons Josue & Benjamin, as well as his 7 grandchildren and extended family through marriage. His impact was undeniable and his love leaves a void almost as great as the man that he was. Eduardo will be deeply missed and his love for his family, both through blood and through Christ, will carry on with his memory forever.
