Eduardo's obituary

The famlily of Eduardo “Eddie” Ernesto Fierro of Tolleson, Az is saddened to announce his sudden passing. He left us all too soon on October 07, 2023.

Eddie, lovingly known by family as “Neto”, was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM to his late father, Eduardo Fierro Sr. and his late mother, Josephine A. Reyes on September 16, 1975.

Eddie graduated from Rialto High School. He later pursued his passion in the automotive industry and became a store manager in automotive retail for over 20 years. His persistence and determination led him to bring his vision to life and successfully develop his business, RLC Landscaping and Cleaning services along side his companion.

He was a fervent sports enthusiast, rooting passionately for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Cardinals. His favorite vacation spot was Rocky Point, a place where he created many cherished memories. He loved to visit his home town. Both places brought him immense joy and tranquility. He loved watching movies and swimming with his family and friends. He took pride and honor in continuing his mother’s tradition of making tamales during the holidays. But his greatest treasure of all were his nephews, Reyes and Jaylen.

Eddie was a man of great kindness. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable and cherished. His gracious and open-handed legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved companion Robert Leal of Tolleson, AZ; and his family: sister Erika Reyes; nephews Ivan Reyes and Ian Jaylen Salcido; brother and sister-in-law Fabian and Desarae Fierro; and step-father Jesus Reyes, all of Las Cruces, NM.

We invite all who knew Eddie to join us in celebrating his life. It is a time to share stories, to cry, to laugh, and to remember a man who touched us all with his warmth. A Viewing will be held at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale, AZ on October 13, 2023 from 11AM to 2PM.

May we take solace in knowing that his spirit lives on, not just in memory, but in the countless lives he touched and the love he so freely gave.
