Edna's obituary

Edna E. Thomason

Age 76, of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital – Main Campus. Edna was born June 10, 1946 in Clinton, Tennessee to the late Earl & Vesta (Robertson) Babb. In addition to her parents, Edna was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky Ferguson; her brother, William Lundy; and by her beloved pets, Auggie & Sassy.

She was an avid “Super Fan” of the Cincinnati Bengals, the Kentucky Wildcats & the Cincinnati Reds.

Edna is survived by one sister, Mary McKnight; son, Tim Ferguson & his wife, Tammy; daughter, Sheila Tummel; grandchildren, Chris, Cory (Melanie), Chelsea (Chris), Kassidy (Brandon), Seth & Heather; great grandchildren, Kennedy, Jackson, Sophie & Owen; and by her extended family in Corbin, Kentucky & many good friends & neighbors.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with her nephew, Rev. Glen Wilson, officiating. Interment will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Edna to St. Jude’s Hospital.
