2020

I’ve been havibg memories of my mom. She sleeping on our couch in laguna in the subdivision near the highschool. It kinda late at night and a tv show is about to start. Its Unsolved Mysteries it use to scare me to watch it but mom would lay on the couch to keep me company. As the show went on my mom would fall asleep tired from her long day and the many things she did. Half way threw the show she would start to snore at little and startle me. I’d then cover her up and sit close to the couch to hold her hand as she slept. We would do this often and when the show ended I wake her and take her to bed. As she get ready for be I get her a glass of water to take her asprin. She get in bed and cover up and I’d kiss her on her forehead then head off to bed. I take a last look at her and smile. These are the memories that I see and cherish.

Those are the wonderful memories that you will always have in your heart and memories of your momma.  I know she loved you so much Leo, you could see it in her eyes the minute you walked into the room her eyes would just light up and the smile on her face said it all.  You never had to ask - it was absolutely obvious. I can remember how excited she used to get when she knew it was time to come to Michigan for her summer visits and how excited you used to get too. It was great having her here with us the times that she was here. I am glad that she came as often as she did and that we were able to get to know each other and become close like we did.  I knew she cared very much for me too (and not just because I let her eat pie) and I never really had to ask or ever doubt it.  I would have done anything for your mom no matter what it was. She always knew whatever she needed or just wanted I would get it for her even if you said no LOL.  I can remember the trips to take her back home - those were some fun trips as well with her on her tablet in the back seat just hanging out eating her snacks and relaxing.  She enjoyed her road trips with us and just spending the quality time she had with you her "son-babe" as she called you.  I will miss her very much.
