I met Ed at the end of 2006. We became fast friends and developed a deep spiritual connection that lasted from that time until his passing. While we didn't see each other often, our connection was never ever severed and grew stronger over the years. Ed & Marianne were going to visit me and bring food to help me with my own health issues. We had to delay that visit and then I found out that Ed was in the hospital. I am ever so grateful that I was healthy enough to come to the hospital and say goodbye. I was doubly grateful that I was able to meet Katherine and Marianne and share a hug. Their hospitality, kindness and love touched me deeply. When I left, the tears rolled freely as I made my way to my car. His time was too short but his impact will be felt forever. Ed grew into a wonderful man, father and husband. So blessed to have met and become connected with him. I love you, Ed!

Eddie - unbelievable! Just heard wow the good really do leave early. Always thought I would see you again and hang out once more at one of the East Sac dives one Holiday in Sac -you always tried to reach out to all of us friends from high school - you were always so funny and fun! Your stories were the best. I remember driving back from Tahoe one time listening to your voicemail recordings you would do with friends you always tried to make everything a good memory. Sorry I didn’t respond to your last request life was moving for me but you always tried to maintain that connection with everyone. You will be missed and I’m sad you left. Condolences to your son, wife, family and dearest friends.  GodspeedÂ

We are deeply saddened by your loss. Our sincere condolences to the Puchi family, especially to James who is close and dear to our heart.
We appreciate all the love and support that Eddie gave the boys, as they constantly visited the Puchi family. Eddie’s high spirits always kept the boys nearby.Â

Even as a small boy he had an especially bright light in his soul. A very sad day, I hope he is dancing with the angels in heaven.Â
