Edmund Donald Muir

March 25, 1951 – January 30, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edmund Donald Muir on January 30, 2025. Born on March 25, 1951, Ed lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and love for his family. A gifted golf professional, he spent his life sharing his talent and love for the game with others, both on and off the course.

Ed was a beloved father to his three daughters, Angela Muir, Gabrielle Muir, and Maddison Muir, and grandfather to his two grandsons, Noah Jimenez and Crew Muir, who will forever cherish his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Jennie Park, and his siblings, Kathy Matusz, Kevin Muir, and John Muir.

Ed’s presence brought joy to those around him, and his legacy will live on in the memories of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Rd, Brighton, MI 48116, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.

A memorial luncheon will take place at Chemung Hills Golf Course, 3125 Golf Club Rd, Howell, MI 48843, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM on the same day.

Friends and loved ones are invited to join in honoring and celebrating Ed’s life.
