Edmund's obituary

Edmund Vincent Elston III passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, at the age of 72.

Ed grew up in Houston and graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School. He spent his professional life in global logistics, but it was his personal life that truly defined him. He brought so much warmth, laughter, and kindness to everyone he met.

Ed had a big heart and an easygoing spirit. He loved being on the lake, traveling, or catching a game with friends. If you knew Ed, you likely shared a laugh with him. He had a great sense of humor and a way of making people feel at ease.

He loved cheering for the Astros and Texans with the same heart and hope he gave to those around him. His joy for life touched everyone he met.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ed is survived by his sons, Kiel and Matthew Elston; daughters, Sydney Remy and Christi Creel, his brothers, Pete and Scott Elston; six grandchildren; and his longtime partner, Peggy. He also leaves behind many dear friends who brought joy to his life and will carry his memory forward.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at The Woodlands Country Club.
