Edith V. Merigo Seely

June 4, 1943 – October 8, 2025

Edith V. Merigo Seely, age 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away at her home on October 8, 2025.

Born on June 4, 1943, in Westland, Pennsylvania, Edith was one of 22 siblings and is survived by two sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and by her husband of 50 years.

She dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work in the healthcare field—a calling that reflected her deep compassion, resilience and generous heart.

Edith had a warm heart and loved to joke with others. She is survived by her daughter Penny Mazzilli and her husband Mitch Mazzilli and daughter Rachel Ramous; her beloved grandchildren, Kayla Mazzilli and Mitchell Mazzilli, her great grandson Grayson Mazzilli; as well as many extended family members.

She found joy in baking, especially cookies and loved to share her gifts. Edith was a proud member of the AMVETS Post 92, where she found purpose and connection with her community.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Treasure Coast Hospice in Edith’s memory, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.

A memorial service will be held at the AMVET Post 92 on October 19th at 2pm, where family and friends will gather to honor her life and legacy.
