NEW CASTLE- Edith Pearl Peckinpaugh, 86, passed away Tuesday evening October 3, 2023, at her home in New Castle with loved ones at her side after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. A daughter of the late James A. and Fay M. (Usher) Dale, Edith was born in Connersville, Indiana on December 30, 1936. Edith graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City with the class of 1955. She and her husband Carroll …

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday October 9, 2023, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. President Gary Jefferson will officiate. Burial will follow at Mooreland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday October 8th.
