Edith's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Merriott, who peacefully left this world on April 21, 2023. A loving wife, mother, and friend, Edith was born on May 5, 1935, and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and countless cherished memories.

Edith was preceded in death by her devoted spouse, John Merriott, who stood by her side through all of life's joys and challenges. Together, they built an incredible life and family. She is also survived by her daughter, Marie Swartz(Bucyrus Oh) children Krista Funk, Michelle (James)Owen, Danielle (James)Huffman,Daniel (Rachel)Swartz,Dayton and Harley Swartz ,daughter Sandy (Dana)Halvomb (Las Vegas , NV)her son Bob (Theresa)Merriott(Perrysburg ,OH) Robert Jr and Judy Marriott. and her son Al Merriott(Jacksonville,FL)who were all a testament to her love and dedication as a mother. Edith was predeceased by her beloved son, Danny Merriott, whose memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Edith was best known for her smart, sassy and loving personality. She had a magnetic presence and a sense of humor that could light up a room. Her greatest accomplishment and source of pride was her family, who she loved deeply and unconditionally. Edith's legacy of love and kindness will live on through the memories shared by all who knew her.
