Clifford, Edith Mary "Edie" , age 79 Denton, Maryland formally of Leesville, Louisiana passed away Sunday, October 7,2018.
Ms. Edie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion of VERNON PARISH VETERANS SVC OFC, Leesville, LA. She loved to dance and play bingo with her girlfriends. She loved beautiful clothes, getting her hair and nails done. She was a collector of Asian collectibles. Ms. Edie was a beloved wife, mother , grand mother, great grand mother, sister, aunt, friend and unofficial mom to many. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Edith Garrison, Husbands Granville R. Diamond and James R Clifford, and oldest daughter "Mookie"Trish Niekirk. She is survived by son Granville R Diamond Jr , daughter Bonnie and husband Mark Getsinger, daughter Mary and husband Louis Kanicki, daughter Edie and Anthony Barbaccio, son in law Eric T.W and wife Fa. She had 12 grand children and 9 great great grand children. Ms. Edie was survived by her brothers Snookie, David, Ronnie. Sisters Susan, Rita, Mary Jane, Barbara, and Arlene. She had numerous nieces and nephews and close friends. Ms. Edie will be placed along side her husband James R. Clifford at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetary
