Edgar Reese Turner “Eddie” unfortunately passed away suddenly at his home in Sun Valley, Nevada on January 2, 2023 at the age of just 56. Eddie was born to Edgar Ray Turner and Mary Lou Kenyon in Winnemucca, Nevada on February 13, 1966. He graduated from Albert M Lowry High School in Winnemucca in 1985.

He is survived by his two daughters - Noel Lee Garcia age 31 and Brook Elaine Turner age 27. He is also survived by his 3 Grandchildren from Noel (Daniel age 7, Joseph age 3 and Gabriella age 11 months) as well as 3 Grandchildren from Brook (Emma age 10, Jordan age 3, and Josiah who is due to make his appearance in May 2023).

He was also survived by his two Brothers - Ray Lewis Turner (who’s children are Ryan, Dustin and Quinn) and Harold Ormus Turner (who’s children are Aaron, Jarec, Jada and Edgar).

Besides being born and raised in Humbolt County Nevada, and residing for a short period of time in Utah, he resided in Washoe County for a good majority of his life where he ultimately passed away unexpectedly.

He was a very hard worker with lots of love to give and loved to help those around him. He had a strong love for our Lord Jesus Christ and made that known to those that knew him. Even though his time with us was cut very short, because of his undying love and dedication to Jesus, we find comfort in the hope that he will be at peace in heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ himself.

A funeral mass is being held at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery in Reno, Nevada on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 9am in the Chapel with the burial of his ashes to follow. We will also be doing a special rosary for Eddie at 8pm the evening before on January 20th, and ask that anyone that would like to join, join in at that time from the comfort of wherever they are.

Eddie was so loved and will very much be missed.
