Butch's obituary
Edgar “Butch” Schooley is survived by three children, Rodney Schooley, Kelli Timon, and Sarah Schooley. He was a beloved grandfather of five grandchildren; Savannah Schooley, Bradley Schooley, Abigale Schooley, Ashlee Timon and McKenzie Timon. He was a great grandfather to one: Solana Wysinger.
Edgar was so loved by his family, he was so incredibly goofy and could make a whole room smile with his quirkiness. He loved Pepsi and Hostess cupcakes with his whole heart, and was a Cleveland Browns fan until the very end. He loved Disney Movies and Reds games. He was so kind, and instilled that value into every person he met. His heart was absolutely golden, and if love could have saved him he would have lived forever. He was happy to be in the company of those who loved him and who he loved.
Edgar has made such an incredible impact of everyone he has met. He has taught many people everything he knows. He was very wise, and liked to keep things simple. He preached to everyone on being a good person, to be generous, to give love, and to be present. He was very family oriented, and understood the value of togetherness.
Edgar was a serviceman in the United States Army and had the opportunity to travel the world. He spoke highly of how amazing the food was overseas in Europe and Italy. He also was very fond of Florida, and painted pictures of the palm trees, the swamp across the street from his home, the animals, and the sunburns. He relished his memories, and we are all very grateful for each moment he spent telling us his stories.
Edgar was an angel on earth and developed that personification in death. He will be thought of always, and in the hearts of all his loved ones forever.
