First I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.  I first met Eddie at my PHA two gun match.  His smile, laugh and friendly demeanor really impressed me.  Eddie was always helping people at the match.                                                                                                            When I left NC and moved to Florida, I continued to think about Eddie and kept in touch with him through his social media posts.  He was a great father, who was proud of this daughters.  He envolved himself with their activities at school and athletics.  I once told him that I deeply respected him for his love and devotion to his family.   It is sad that he will not have the opportunity to experience his daughters' futures.  I am 30 years older than Eddie and like him have envolved myself in my son's and daughter's lives.  I'm so proud of what they have accomplished, as I'm sure Eddie was with his girls.                                                I hope Eddie thought of me as a friend, and I hope to see him again in heaven where he surely is now smiling down on us.

Eddie was the best. We only knew each other for a little over a year before his tragic passing, but we connected on that next level. He was such a great guy and so easy to talk to. He loved his girls so much.

When I close my eyes, I can still hear his calming voice and that deep laugh.

Though you are gone, you are not forgotten.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was in Eddie’s football class at UVA and just always remember his infectious smile.   At the celebration, it was moving how many peoples lives Eddie impacted positively.   He is a great man.  Prayers to all your family.

It’s hard to believe. I still remember catering Eddie and Brandi’s wedding. Their color was yellow and everything was so beautiful. Brandi I am praying for you and the girls (young ladies).
