Eddie "EJ" Massey, 74, of Mount Pleasant, TX passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2023 after a myocardial infraction. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Eddie was predeceased by his late wife, Betty Jo Massey and his brother Earl "Beams" Massey. He is survived by his only daughter Gwendolyn R. Massey and her children Britney, Jasmine, and Brennan .

Eddie "EJ" Massey was born in El Dorado, AR before his family immigrated to mount pleasant, TX in 1995 to continue his largely successful logging and gas company, Fina's.  Eddie was loved and cherished by many from Arkansas to Texas. Please note that all services will be held at his church home, Southside Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant, TX as Eddie specifically requested this. The burial will be Monday, February 27th, 2023  at the VA Dallas-Fort Worth cemetery.
