Background
The day after Thanksgiving my stepfather passed away. He nor my mother had life insurance. He had battled with hip replacement surgeries, and about a year ago had to have his right leg amputated and most of his left foot due to an infection. My mom is 70 and on a fixed income and we do not have the money to give him a service or burial. The least I can do is put his story out there after all he did for me. He was always there for me and my two boys like he was my own father. He made sure my boys made it to cub scouts, school, and anywhere we needed to go in between. He was such a good person and deserves to have a proper burial. It breaks my heart that there were no arrangements made sooner.
