I believe Eda saved my marriage with her passionate friendship and nursing skills. Ours is one of the many lives Eda positively impacted. Rest in peace.

Eda was our neighbor during the Forest City years. I cannot say enough about her kindness and generosity.
She drove our children to school in the morning, graciously put up with our early morning challenges and taught us about Eda time: “If you’re not early, you are late!”
When our dog had a medical emergency, Eda got him immediate, after-hours care at the vet office where she volunteered. (He lived many, healthy years afterwards).
I saw how Eda lived her faith every day, helping other people in ways large and small.
Besides being a great cook, an exemplary mother, a dedicated nurse and a thoughtful, sensible person, Eda had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun to be around.
May her memory be a blessing, and a comfort to her family.

My heart is with all of you during this difficult time. Eda was such a beautiful soul — kind, thoughtful, and filled with a gentle strength that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. I feel truly grateful to have called her my friend.

Eda was such a big part of our Ttown days - so many crazy memories of laughter - crazy antics and of course hugs- Always the first to offer to help - in many ways she was like an older sister to me as we spent many nights talking after I babysat. I hold these memories even dearer as I think of you all during this time- Many hugs to you all 💖

My kids will always remind me of my mom. The way they interrupt with ridiculous questions or facts during a movie, neither of us have seen andthe way they care for others and put others first.
