ED's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ed Tyson, who was taken from us on May 29, 2024. Ed was born on September 5, 1997, a bright spark who brought joy and laughter to all those around him. His warm and bubbly personality was a radiant light that will be dearly missed.
Ed was the beloved step-father of Delores Montgomery, whom he loved dearly. Unfortunately, he was predeceased by his mother, Bertha Tyson, who he held in high regard. Ed was a graduate of the 2021 class of Engineers in Atlanta, GA, with honors, an accomplishment he was exceptionally proud of.
Ed had an eclectic taste, enjoying a variety of hobbies and interests. His favorite foods were rooted in his love for Soul Food, and he enjoyed relaxing with a refreshing Sprite. He was a keen reader, having a fondness for newspapers. A lover of music, his favorite artist was Kendrick Lamar, alongside his admiration for opera performances.
Ed was also an avid viewer of the TV show Wild n Wildout and enjoyed the cinematic gem, Bad boys 4 Life. True to his diverse interests, he appreciated Monet's artwork, loved playing Twister, and was a proud supporter of the Baltimore Ravens. Journeying to Jamaica was a highlight for him, and Club Esquire held a special place in his heart as his preferred local spot. Another cause dear to his heart was the ASPCA, for whom he championed tirelessly.
A lover of the outdoors, Ed preferred long walks as a form of exercise and found peace in music. His favored color was green, a reflection of his vibrant personality. He was a beacon of wisdom, strongly believing in respecting oneself and others. His legacy, a testament to his character, extends beyond his achievements into his wisdom and love, which he has left for his children.
Ed's passing leaves an indelible mark on our hearts. His laughter, love, and wisdom will continue to live on through the lives of those he touched. His family and I will dearly miss him. The world was a better place with Ed in it.
