Eberiel's obituary

Eberiel Pagan

1964-2025

Eberiel, affectionately known as Ebe, fell asleep in death on May 26, 2025.

Ebe was born to Bernardo Pagan and Myrtelina Ruiz Pelliccia in 1964. He was deaf and mute but his eyes always glowed with curiosity about the world around him. Ebe was a “Mr Fix It”, with knowledge in electricity. In his younger years, he would ride his bike around the neighborhood looking for things to fix and “upcycle”.

Ebe leaves to mourn him his father, Bernardo Pagan; his brothers, Bernardo and Marcus Pagan; his sisters, Cynthia (Carlos) Mata, and Urania (Bernard) Negrin; and a host of nephews and nieces. Ebe was predeceased by his sister, Damaris Pagan (2014) and his mother, Myrtelina Pelliccia (2022).

Eberiel will be remembered for being a gentle soul who never turned down a hug from his loved ones. He was a loyal and loving person who will be deeply missed by those who truly knew him. We look forward to the time when “the ears of the deaf will be unstopped” and we will be able to hear him speak and laugh out loud for the first time. (Isaiah 35:5)
