Easton's obituary
Easton Wade Anderson, 35, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering loyalty to the people he cared for. Born on November 17, 1989, in Waterloo, Iowa, Easton lived a life centered around connection, most often created and shared through food.
A talented chef, Easton had a gift for feeding both stomachs and souls. Whether he was preparing a meal or offering a listening ear, he had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and valued. He was the person everyone called because he always answered. His ability to give thoughtful advice, to show up without hesitation, and to make others feel cared for will forever be remembered by all who loved him.
Easton shared his life with his wife and best friend, Jessica Anderson, his partner in every adventure. Married for one beautiful year and together for 8 years, they were inseparable and brought out the very best in one another. Their love was a constant, steady, joyful, and full of everyday moments they cherished deeply.
Easton is survived by his grandparents, Gerald and Betty Anderson of Crystal Falls, MI; his mother, Jennifer (Jeremy) Lunde of Traer, IA; his siblings, Haley (Eric) Frisch of Bondurant, IA, Parker (Jessica) Lunde of Burlington, IA, and Wyatt Lunde of Traer, IA, and step-sister Juliana (Justin) Meggers of Florida. He is also survived by his son, Klark Kent Anderson of Traer, IA, Easton’s wife, Jessica Anderson of Crystal Falls, MI, and her sons, Xavier Leonard of Colorado, Xander Leonard and Xaylan Leonard of Des Moines, IA.
Easton’s presence made the world brighter, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched through kindness, conversation, and the meals he lovingly made.
Easton’s passing has left our family heartbroken and facing unexpected expenses. To help ease the financial burden on his wife, Jessica, and our entire family, we are asking for support with funeral and memorial costs. We are grateful for every donation, prayer, and shared memory.
A celebration of Easton’s life will be held at a later date, and details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements are made.
